How We're Different
Rather than limiting designers to a fixed color palette, Special FX Lighting can match virtually any theatrical gel color—or combination of colors—specified for a project. Color concepts can be quickly mocked up in the field using standard theatrical gels, allowing for fast, accurate decision-making before production.
We also provide best-effort matches to Pantone®, RAL, and other non-transparent standard color systems, as well as customer-supplied samples.
For precision light filtering applications, projects can be specified using Kelvin shift targets or nanometer readings. We can also match one light source to another—ensuring consistent color output across different fixtures, even when color temperatures vary.
